Welcome to

Church Hill Infant School

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our website, which I hope will give you an insight into what our school has to offer. There is a lot of useful information available here, but a visit would be the ideal way of getting a true sense of our happy, welcoming and caring school.

I am extremely proud to be in my third year as the head teacher here at Church Hill Infants – the school is a fantastic community – a family of dedicated teachers, passionate support staff, curious children and of course parents who we want to work in partnership with. By working together we can ensure all children transition well into school life and develop not just academically, but are also equipped with key life skills as well as a love of discovering new things.

Our curriculum is creative, broad and driven by meaningful and rich experiences which ignite pupils curiosity, and inspire them to be ambitious and develop a desire to learn. Staff have high expectations of themselves and the pupils and work hard to nurture and develop your child.

Church Hill Infants is a very special place where we really value the link between school and home and work very hard to involve you and keep you informed in every step of your child’s time here. I encourage you to visit our wonderful school and see the environment and what is on offer for yourselves – I am confident you will find this a nurturing and supportive learning community, with staff who listen, consult and do their very best for the pupils.

The staff and I look forward to working with you.

Mrs Claire Elliott
Head Teacher

The school needs some willing parent volunteers who would be able to give up some time to attend 4 meetings per academic year to find out more about the school and support us on our development journey. If you feel you have skills to offer and the time to give please contact the school office for further details.
