We have thought very carefully about our timetable and the way the school day runs so that the curriculum can be delivered effectively and that pupils get to enjoy social time and regular breaks.
The school day begins at 8.40am for all year groups. Classroom doors will open at 8.40am and registration begins once the pupils have put their belongings away. Breaktime for Year 1 and 2 is at 10.30am and this lasts for 15 minutes giving the pupils chance to eat a piece of fruit, interact with their friends and exercise.
Lunchtime for all years is 12.00pm – 1.00pm and includes time to eat their school meal and take part in activities with the sports coach or socialise with their friends.
Our school day ends at 3.10pm for all year groups.
The total length of the school day for all is 6 hours 30 minutes. The school week for all our year groups is therefore 32 hours 30 minutes.
